The most important thing to remember about eating a clean and healthy diet is that you need to avoid or at least reduce significantly, your sugar intake, white pasta, white bread and white rice.
Always start a meal with a glass of water. It will help you prevent overeating
Pay attention to portion sizes. Measure out snacks instead of eating from the packet and use smaller plates for meals.
Don't drink your calories. Soft drinks won't fill you but are loaded with calories.
Don't deprive yourself of food. Eat when you're hungry, but snack on nuts or fruit.
Eat dark chocolate - it's full of antioxidants, but just stick 2 squares a day.
Exercise, even if you just go for a short brisk walk everyday, get that body moving.
Don't eat late at night.
Get a good night's sleep, at least 6-8 hours of undisturbed sleep in a dark room.
